Where speleobop with names like Starcadaver cavort endlessly among the ruins...
Visceral Axis
Milne Boys Home
Local legend has it that Louis Armstrong lived here when he was 11  years old, and that at the time it was called the Waifs
Home for Colored Boys, or the Colored Waifs Home.
Other sources claim that Mr. Louis never lived here and that the Waifs Home was another facility entirely.

Inside the main building
Unfortunately, these buildings were much more interesting outside than they were inside.Building A is storage for the
community garden,  Building B was completely gutted, and the Main house had been "updated" circa 1980 and was a nightmare
of acoustic tile, wallboard, functional concrete and non interest. We did not have the opportunity to check the upper floors, but
since the main house is not exactly challenging to enter, we'll be going back shortly to explore the upper levels and hopefully
discover something a little more exciting.
